In our continuing effort to provide our customers with solutions for their most serious issues, we have developed a camera replacement system that replaces all cameras, cables, and control units on Body 6 through 10, three (3) or four (4) camera systems. Vidicon tubes are no longer made and refurbished units have the added expense of more maintenance due to shorter lifetimes. PDP Emulator for NSR Computer Replacement

EPT is re-introducing a past product with many updated features and a new design. This system will completely replace your PDP computer that is the control center of your NSR stepper. These computers have been reliable in the past, but they have become obsolete and cumbersome. This system will also remove the need for the video processor in the control rack. The video signal is fed directly into this emulator.  As compared with other PDP emulators, this system gains a great speed advantage from the fact that it is a true software implemented emulation and is not limited by the 19MHz DEC processor speed of other hardware based systems and chip-on-board emulators.

NSR Body 2,3,4 CCD Camera Replacement System

The EPT CCD Camera System completely replaces the existing vidicon tube systems. The vidicon systems are discontinued and there are no new replacements. Many of the existing cameras are deteriorating with age. In addition to replacing failing hardware, the EPT system solves many problems with illumination and image variation. One unique feature is the ability to store custom camera setups for high and low mag on different substrates. Our customers have been very pleased with the performance or our system and have benefited greatly from the clear, bright, and high contrast imagery.

NSR Body 2, 3, & 4 steppers have been very successful in the field for many years. During the past several years, many of the vidicon tube cameras and CCU controllers have failed to due age issues. The imagery has suffered from loss of contrast, blooming and image "burning" in the optics and tubes. Some companies have tried refurbishing old components but the results have been primarily dissappointing. EPT has sold this system since 1998, and with dozens of units in the field, this is a proven, highly reliable upgrade.

NSR Body 6 - 12 LCD Monitor
DEC VT Terminal Monitor Replacement

EPT has developed a much needed upgrade for NSR body 6 through Body 12 steppers. The older CRT screens become "burned-in" and dim. They are also bulky and heavy creating a safety liability due to droppage and lifting injury.  We have been able to replace the aging monitors with a current day LCD screen.  To make the upgrade and easy "drop-in" replacement, we have designed a custom bracket and cable.  This monitor will work with VT240 and VT284 / VT286 terminals. You can connect it directly to the DEC VT Terminals with our custom converter cable.

The EPT Enhanced NSR Terminal for G4 Body Steppers is a plug in replacement for the obsolete Tektronix terminals. The system enables direct access to over 1 year of machine history, On-line NSR error descriptions, Remote networked access to NSR screens and data, Advanced search and replay options and Data analysis including Utilization, Throughput, Performance metrics and Error Paretos. In addition, the EPT terminal will facilitate networked NSR Job Files and download at job start.
